Jürek Zamoyski Wildlife Artist – Specializing in detailed portraits of Mammals, African and Asian species, endangered species and big cats such as tiger, lion, leopard, licensed art, art licensing..

Jürek was born and educated in post-war Poland. Among his original artistic influences was his Mother, who was an Artist herself, and also the famous artist Salvador Dali.

His Mother introduced Jürek to art history, mythology, love for nature and fundamental skills of artistic expression.

One of his early encounters with art was Salvador Dali’s symbolic  painting The Burning Giraffe, a gruesome image of a giraffe with its back ablaze as a symbol of war.

Mind you, this discovery took place in Europe, which was recovering from ravages of World War II.

Being surrounded by European art gave Jürek education and respect for history. He believes history is a core of who we are today and connects us with the Future.
